In Erie Insurance Exchange v. Larose, 41 Fla. L. Weekly D2372, Case No. 2D15-5750 (Fla. 2d DCA 2016), the Second District Court of Appeal concluded that Florida courts did not have jurisdiction over an out-of-state insurance company when the policy was issued in a different state to an out- of- state company.
